Foot discomfort or foot pain is a common problem and can be caused by a wide range of possible causes.
Most conditions that cause foot discomfort can be dealt with by yourself at home, but we always recommend seeing your doctor or chiropodist if you’re concerned about any severe or persistent pain in your feet.
If your pain is in your heel, you could have Plantar Fasciitis. This is an irritation or inflammation of the band of tissue that connects the toes to the heel bone. This usually hurts more in first thing in the morning as you’re getting out of bed. Or it could be a Heel Spur, more information on our Heel Pain page.
